The game started with the All Blacks performing the Haka and was countered by the welsh crowd of 47,000 singing the welsh national anthem "Land of my Fathers", the very first time the national anthem had been sung before a match. The game finished in a 3-0 victory to Wales and was the only defeat the All Blacks had suffered on their 35 match tour.
